Trip to Kol Tor Lake

Today, we—a group of tourists from Britain—made a trip to Kol Tor Lake. The weather was cloudy, with occasional rain and drizzle, which we actually found quite pleasant. Despite the conditions, the tourists had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

The Kol Tor tract is a smaller offshoot or side valley branching off from the larger Kegety Gorge, which is located in the Chüy Region of Kyrgyzstan. The Kol Tor area is known for its scenic beauty, including the picturesque Kol Tor Lake, which is a popular hiking destination for both locals and tourists. The lake sits at an elevation of about 2,750 meters and is fed by glacial waters, giving it a striking turquoise color.
