Discover the local life and nature in the Nuratau Mountains
From the blue-tiled mosques of Bukhara to the remote village and amazing nature of Nuratau Mountains range, Uzbekistan offers ancient culture and ample opportunity for adventure. Highlights admiring Silk Road-era architecture and strolling Samarkand’s backstreets. Set between the slightly chaotic scenes of Samarkand and the labyrinthine alleyways of Khiva, Bukhara is a happy medium. An ocean of mosques and minarets, ornate craftsmanship and intricate tile work, turquoise domes and leafy plazas peppered between the modern sprawl of the city. Bukhara and Samarkand were the breath of fresh air and should be the essential stops on your Uzbekistan itinerary. The trip also gives an opportunity to explore the authentic villages of Hayat, Uhum, Asraf and Aydarkul Lake with the included medium difficulty hiking program.
